Ugc net admit card 2024 subject wise
UGC NET exam will be held for 85 subjects. Candidates will have to follow some rules. Admit cards have been issued for the exam to be held on January 3. Let us know what things to keep in mind on the day of the exam and which documents to carry?

UGC NET 2024 : UGC NET December session exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency. It will start from 3 January 2025. Guidelines related to the exam have been issued, which will be necessary for the candidates to follow. Admit card and schedule have been made available on the official website.
A total of 85 subjects will be tested in computer based test mode for Junior Research Fellowship award, Assistant Professor appointment and PhD admission. The exam will be held on 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15 and 16 January in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The second shift will run from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Admit Card Issued (UGC NET Admit Card)
Currently, NT has released admit cards for the exam to be held on January 3. Admit cards for other dates will be available soon. Hall ticket is an important document for the exam. It contains the name of the candidate, personal details, exam date, time, name and address of the exam center and instructions. Without this, entry is also not allowed in the exam hall. Candidates can download the admit card using the application number and password. It is advised to visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in for updates.
Candidates should keep these things in mind (UGC NET Exam Guidelines)
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a passport size photo, valid photo ID (PAN card, Aadhaar card, driving license or passport) on the day of examination.
- Reach the exam center 2 hours before the start of the exam. Entry will close 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
- PWD candidates must have PWD certificate.
- Follow the instructions given on the admit card.
- Wear simple clothes. Don’t make the mistake of carrying banned items.
- Strict action can be taken for misbehavior and misconduct with the examiner.
- Candidates should check the subject of the question paper displayed on the computer screen carefully. Report any discrepancy to the examiner.
