Hyundai brings ‘Creta Electric’ with a range of 473KM and charging in 58 minutes, you will be shocked to know the pictures

South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai has unveiled its electric SUV Hyundai Creta EV . This electric SUV was in the news for a long time and recently the company was also releasing its teasers. The company has now shared all the information related to its design and features. The new Hyundai Creta Electric will be launched at the India Mobility Global Expo starting from January 17.
Look and design
In terms of design, the Hyundai Creta Electric is quite similar to its petrol and diesel models. It mainly uses soft plastic parts, which give it the traditional look of an electric car. The new front and rear bumpers have pixel-like detailing. Along with the traditional covered grille, it includes aero-optimized alloy wheels and a charging port at the front. Its design seems to be largely inspired by the N Line variant.

Interiors and Features
The interior of the Hyundai Creta Electric has a dual 10.25-inch screen setup. Apart from this, the steering wheel has been inspired by the Kona Electric available in the global market. A new floating center console design and premium features like panoramic sunroof, vehicle to load (V2L) technology, 360-degree camera and ADAS suite have been included. It also has a digital key feature, which makes it more advanced.
Battery and Range
Hyundai Creta Electric will be offered with two battery options, including 42kWh and 51.4kWh batteries. According to ARAI, these batteries will provide a range of 390 km and 473 km respectively. This electric SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. It has three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – which make it an all-rounder in terms of driving.
Charging Speed and Variants
Hyundai claims that the Creta Electric can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes via DC charging. At the same time, it can be charged from 10% to 100% in 4 hours with an 11kW AC wall box charger. This SUV will be available in 4 variants – Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. It has 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options, including 3 matte colors.
It will be a competition
Hyundai Creta Electric will compete directly with Maruti’s upcoming electric car e Vitara, Mahindra’s BE 6, and Tata’s Curvv EV in the Indian market. Hyundai has spotted this SUV several times during testing.
