MP Weather: Weather will change again with the new system, chances of thundershowers in many districts, fog alert in 16 districts today, read the new update of IMD
With the northern winds coming again in the state, the next round of cold may start from today, Wednesday, and next week there will be cloudy and rainy conditions.
MP Weather Update: Due to the effect of western disturbance, once again a big change will be seen in the weather of Madhya Pradesh at the end of this week. There will be cold wave, dense fog along with thunder and rain at some places. The temperature will also fall by 2 to 3 degrees, which will increase the chill.
Today, on Tuesday, fog will prevail in the morning and night in 16 districts including Gwalior, but on January 8, the fog will reduce but the cold will increase. Light rain is predicted in some districts of the state from January 12.

Fog alert in these districts today
- Dense fog alert in Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sidhi, Singrauli, Sheopur, Satna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Maihar, Mauganj, and Rewa districts .
- Light to moderate fog in Neemuch Mandsaur .
MP Meteorological Department Forecast
According to the MP Meteorological Department, a system is active around Pakistan and Jammu and jet stream winds are blowing in north-eastern Rajasthan. The fog will reduce from Wednesday but there are signs of the next round of cold starting. Especially, cold wave and cold day are expected till January 22.
Chances of rain between 10-12 January
According to the MP Meteorological Department, Western Disturbance is becoming active in North-West India from January 10, due to which there is a possibility of light rain with thunder in some districts from January 12. Especially its effect will be seen in many districts of Malwa Nimar. Due to the effect of La Nina, cloudy rain conditions are expected in February and March as well. There is also a possibility of hailstorm along with strong winds in many districts.
