After a long wait, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released the notification for Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination-2025 (PSCSCE-2025) for 322 posts. The exam is proposed in April. PSCSCE-2025 is being conducted to recruit officers for the Punjab Civil Services (Executive Branch). The recruitment includes Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Tehsildar, Food and Civil Supplies Officer, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Assistant Registrar Co-operative Society, Labor cum Counseling Officer, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Excise and Taxation Officer and Jail Deputy Superintendent (Grade-II) / District Probation Officer.
According to the notification, there are 48 posts for PCS Executive Branch, 17 for DSP, 27 for Tehsildar, 121 posts for Excise and Taxation Officer, 13 for Food and Supply Officer, 49 posts for Block Development and Panchayat Officer, 21 posts for Assistant Registrar Cooperative Society, 3 posts for Labour cum Counselling Officer, 12 posts for Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer and 13 posts for Deputy Superintendent Jail (Grade- II)/District Probation Officer.
Age limit 21 years to 37 years. Relaxation in maximum age limit will be given as per state government rules.
The upper age limit is relaxable upto 42 years in case of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab in case of other services except Punjab Police Service and
The applications will start from today, January 3, 2025. The last date for submission of online form and fee is January 31, 2025. Application Fees SC, ST, BC- Rs 750 Other category – Rs 1500 Punjab Prison Service.
